On September 11, 2020 #WalkTheBridge hosted the National Day of Service and Remembrance by reading the names of the 412 First Responders who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.
343 were firefighters from the New York City Fire Department
23 were police officers from New York City Police Department
37 were police officers from the Port Authority of New York and the New Jersey Police Department
8 were EMTs and paramedics from private emergency medical services
1 was a patrolman with New York Fire Patrol
"Today marks 19 years since the terror attacks on the the World Trade Center twin towers and the U.S. Pentagon. This morning, the Third Watch LE Motorcycle Club joined the community for a memorial ceremony at the SH 66 Bridge (dubbed the Heroes Bridge)."
