"Very cool & windy last night on Heroes Memorial Bridge. Appreciate those who made the effort to turn out and walk to raise awareness about the Mental Health Wellness of our Veterans and First Responders. A special "Thank You" to Marine Corps Veteran Savannah Murray who created this impromptu Memorial to the U.S. Marines who died recently in a Training Accident in Norway! Also Thank You to Susie Helms, Widow of Rowlett Police Sgt. Guy Helms, for this poignant reminder of why we Walk The Bridge!!"
